Technician

About the role

As a Test Technician you will take ownership of all semiconductor test hardware troubleshooting and on-board soldering. You will be responsible for test hardware troubleshooting, improvement and OEE activities. You will work closely with production in production testing for output target achievement. You will also assist the test/equipment engineer in resolving test equipment issues. You will innovate and contribute to equipment operation and quality excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of all semiconductor assembly test hardware troubleshooting
• Conduct test hardware troubleshooting, improvement and OEE activities
• Work closely with production in production assembly and testing for output target achievement
• Assist the assembly and test/equipment engineer in resolving test equipment issues
• Innovate and contribute to equipment operation and quality excellence

About you

• Diploma in Electronics or a Vocational course that is equivalent
• Minimum 1-5 year work experience
• Experience in semiconductor industry is preferred
• Knowledge in Microsoft office
• Hands-on and self-driven attitude, willing to do whatever it takes to complete tasks assigned
• Complete tasks in creative and effective ways while working with minimal oversight
• Able to work shift
