ASTAR Management Services is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive manufacturing company operating a modern production facility equipped with advanced production machinery and equipment. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Technician to join the maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of production equipment.

Salary & Benefits

• Meal Allowance: RM5/day
• Transportation Allowance: RM150/month
• Attendance Bonus: RM200/month (subject to company terms & conditions)
• Night Shift Allowance: RM10/day

Job Summary

As a Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. You will also perform preventive maintenance, minimize machine downtime, and ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot machine faults and carry out corrective maintenance.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Record maintenance activities, repairs, and machine status accurately.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to resolve machine-related issues.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the maintenance work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM, SKM, Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, disciplined, and punctual.
• Willing to work shifts when required.
