About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician to join our maintenance team at The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa. As a Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely, contributing directly to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment whilst utilising your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on resort facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly and efficiently
• Respond to guest requests and maintenance issues in a timely manner, prioritising urgent matters
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and materials used
• Operate and maintain specialised equipment and tools safely and appropriately
• Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and resort policies during all maintenance activities
• Report equipment failures and recommend improvements or upgrades when necessary
• Assist with general handyperson duties as required to support resort operations
