What they need
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Install, inspect, test, calibrate, and repair field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, MCCs, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Maintain and support PLC, SCADA, and other automation control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation faults to minimize equipment downtime.
- Inspect, test, and maintain control valves, sensors, actuators, analyzers, and associated control loops.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument specifications.
- Perform electrical testing using appropriate measuring and diagnostic instruments.
- Assist in commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and modification of plant equipment and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, reports, and work orders through CMMS.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with operations, and maintenance teams to support continuous plant operation.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and recommend replenishment requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
- Ensure all electrical and instrumentation systems operate safely, accurately, and reliably.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Maintain and repair pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, motors, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and condition monitoring of equipment.
