Technician

Armstrong Prestige Wellington are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) team, working within our multi-franchise prestige workshop.

About the role
As an Automotive Technician on our JLR team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across customer and dealership vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:

• Performing vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance
• Completing pre-delivery inspections to Jaguar Land Rover standards
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and within allocated timeframes
• Using workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Contributing to a positive team environment and outstanding customer experience

What we're looking for

• JLR or other European brand experience
• Relevant automotive qualification or certification
• Strong diagnostic and technical skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Full, clean New Zealand driver's licence
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
• A positive attitude and a desire to be part of a successful team

This is a full-time role – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus rostered Saturday mornings.
