Technician

Role Description The Technician role at Kärcher Slovenia is a full-time, on-site position located in Maribor. The Technician will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of Kärcher cleaning equipment for private and professional customers. Daily tasks include inspecting machines, identifying technical issues, replacing parts, and ensuring equipment is safe, functional, and aligned with manufacturer standards. The role also involves documenting work performed, supporting customers with basic product use guidance, and collaborating with the service and sales teams to ensure a high level of service quality. The Technician is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in mechanics, electromechanics, or similar fields, including ability to diagnose and repair small machinery and devices.
• Basic electrical knowledge and safe handling of electrical components and tools.
• Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse users.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills, including accurate documentation and time management.
• Relevant vocational or technical education (e.g., mechanical, electrical, mechatronics) and experience in service or maintenance roles.
• Ability to work on-site in Maribor, adapt to team workflows, and follow health and safety standards.
• Basic computer skills for using service software, email, and creating reports.
• Knowledge of Slovenian language; additional language skills (e.g., English or German) are an advantage.
