Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• To perform RMA Service and troubleshooting customer defects units in-house

• To assist and work as a team with others to handle projects, customization of units and etc, either in-house or on-site

• To prepare service report on the defective parts of the products

• To attend to service calls and perform trouble-shooting on-site

• To travel outstation for maintenance and installation purposes

• To coordinate with sales team on products specification and technical related issue

• And, any other duties exigent of the company’s services

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or any other equivalent field.

• At least 1 to 3 year(s) of working experience in UPS industry is required for this position although fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Possess Certificate of Competency of PW2 / PW4 / A0 issued by ST is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of UPS technologies is an added advantage.

• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia. Well verse in other languages is an added advantage.

• Applicants must be willing to work overtime, on-call 24/7 on rotation basis within the team.

• Ability to adapt and perform well in a highly dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

• Skilled in troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of electronic/electrical equipment.

• Attention to detail and high level of safety awareness.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
