Technician

Responsibilities :

·       Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, installations, and repairs on assigned equipment to ensure their proper operation and functions.

·       Performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs to ventilating and air conditioning equipment according to instructions such as replacing belts on motors, changing filters, bearings, etc.

·       Operate the air-con system and other M&E system daily as scheduled.

·       Troubleshoot all air-con problems effectively, efficiently and economically.

·       Provide technical backup in ensuring smooth daily operations of building air-con systems.

·       Supervise the schedule in-house servicing of the air-con system e.g. AHU, cooling towers and etc.

·       Assist the Supervisor/ Manager - Operations in formulating preventive and predictive maintenance program for the air-con system.

·       Assist in any other assigned tasks related to building maintenance and its upkeep.

·       Working conditions may include but not be limited to extreme heat or cold, confined spaces, heights, climbing ladders & stairs and lifting heavy items.

·       Perform other appropriate duties as required by the company in a competent, professional and courteous manner.

Requirement:

·       Minimum SPM or technical certificate (e.g., vocational training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, etc.).

·       At least 3 years of experience in building, property or facilities maintenance.

·       Experience in a shopping mall, commercial building, hotel or similar environment is an advantage.

·       Basic knowledge of building services, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC.

·       Willing to work on shift schedule, weekends, public holidays and attend emergency calls-out when required.
