About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational performance. This position is crucial to our business operations and requires a dedicated professional with strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities. You will work on-site in Puchong, Selangor, and may be required to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe operation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment
• Repair or replace defective components and parts to restore equipment to full working condition
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and parts used
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs to minimise downtime
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment and properly store tools and spare parts
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to support overall operational objectives

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a technician or in a similar technical maintenance role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems relevant to the equipment you will be servicing
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work in varying environmental conditions
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in your field of expertise are advantageous
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for service calls within the local area
