Technician

Job Summary

The Automotive Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and operating according to manufacturer standards. The position works closely with the Service Advisor and other service personnel to complete repair and maintenance jobs efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle concerns using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct routine services such as oil changes, brake servicing, battery checks, tire-related services, and other scheduled maintenance.
• Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, air-conditioning, and electrical system repairs as required.
• Use automotive diagnostic tools, equipment, and hand tools properly.
• Ensure that all repair work is properly documented in the job order or service management system.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Aftersales Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Technology, Automotive Servicing, or a related technical course.
• With relevant experience as an Automotive Technician is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant automotive training or internship experience may be considered.
• With a Driver's License is a must have
• Knowledgeable in basic automotive mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
• Able to use basic automotive tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on automotive repair work.
• Willing to undergo technical training and skills development.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, and detail oriented.
• Teamwork and communication
