Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Technician to support the installation, testing, commissioning and servicing of diesel generator sets (gensets) for our projects. The role involves working primarily at project sites to ensure genset-related works are completed safely, correctly and according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of diesel generator sets and related equipment at project sites.
• Perform mechanical and electrical installation works related to genset systems.
• Assist with testing and commissioning of gensets and associated systems.
• Conduct pre-commissioning checks, inspections and functional testing.
• Assist with generator start-up, load testing and performance testing.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues during installation and commissioning.
• Check cable connections, control wiring, batteries, fuel systems, cooling systems, exhaust systems and other genset-related components.
• Coordinate with other site personnel to ensure work activities are completed according to project requirements.
• Ensure tools, equipment and materials are properly maintained and available for site work.
• Follow all site safety requirements, company procedures and client requirements.
• Perform other technical and project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager/Technical Manager.

Requirements

• Certificate / Diploma / Technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in genset, diesel engine, electrical, mechanical, M&E or commissioning works will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
