Technician

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining the overall performance and functionality of production machinery.
• Follow PWI or making complex adjustments to machine systems to optimize performance and efficiency beyond the initial setup (machine adjustment form).
• Identifying and implementing improvements to machine reliability and performance.
• Perform 1st piece inspection (FA parts) & obtain approval from quality department personnel before handover the machine to operator for mass production.
• Perform sample fabrication, machine setup and minor machine trouble shooting.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures & regulations.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Confers with engineers, programmers, production personnel, or others to resolve machining problems.
• Demonstrate sense of urgency in meeting deadlines and goals, prioritizing quality and timeliness are of paramount importance to management and our customers.
• Responsible to keep work areas, benches, machinery and tools clean and tidy condition after used (6S).
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• May train less experienced technicians.
• Perform any other tasks deem necessary by the Management.

REQUIREMENT & COMPETENCIES:

• Minimum Cert / Diploma in related field with 2 years experiences in related field.
• Experienced in handling CNC and lathe machine and/or other machines.
• Able to work in 12 hours rotating shift including weekends & public holidays or as required.
• This position is offered on a 6-month contract basis.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
