Technician

SEPTIC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday

Pay: Based on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment used to clean, service, and repair septic systems.
• Perform tasks and assignments given by your supervisor.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Assist with septic tank cleaning and pumping, including removing waste and materials from septic tanks.
• Cut out and replace damaged sections of sewer lines connected to septic systems.
• Repair damaged septic system components under supervision.
• Assist with maintenance, inspections, pumping, and repairs of septic systems.
• Ensure all completed work is functioning properly before leaving the job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work safely and follow company procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Previous septic industry experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Ability to perform physically demanding and intensive manual labor.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions — we work rain or shine.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in septic service and repair.
• Dependable, hardworking, trustworthy, and willing to learn.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Septic maintenance or inspection license/certification is a plus.
• Experience with septic repairs, pumping, maintenance, or inspections.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
