Technician

Job Overview

We're looking for a motivated, hands-on person to join our install team. You'll learn the trade alongside our senior technicians, starting with cabling and pre-wire work and building toward full system installs. No prior industry experience is required. We'll train the right person.

What You'll Do

• Run, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling (Cat6, coax, speaker wire, HDMI, fibre) in new builds and existing homes

• Complete pre-wire and rough-in work for Control4, home theatre, security, camera, and network systems

• Assist senior technicians with mounting TVs, speakers, projectors, cameras, wireless access points, and equipment racks

• Help with home theatre installs, rack builds, cable management, and equipment setup

• Load, organize, and maintain the van, tools, and inventory

• Keep job sites clean and treat clients' homes with respect

• Learn Control4 programming, networking, and system troubleshooting over time

What We're Looking For

• A genuine interest in technology, AV, or smart home systems

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools

• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, on ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs

• Strong attention to detail and pride in tidy work

• Valid driver's licence and clean driving record

Nice to Have

• Experience in electrical, construction, or a related trade

• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, Wi-Fi)

• Familiarity with Control4, IP cameras, or alarm systems

• Low-voltage experience

Pay: $18.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
