Technician

Job Requirements

• Certiticate Level or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in port equipment maintenance, preferably involving reach stackers, empty container handlers, mobile harbour cranes, forklifts, terminal tractors or diesel engines.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• Familiar with diesel engine systems (Cummins preferred) and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, drive and hydraulic systems is an advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence (B2 & D).
• Good teamwork, discipline and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and operational maintenance on port equipment, cranes and heavy machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, identify faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure reliable performance and minimize downtime.
• Perform basic PLC and drive system diagnostics.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
