Technician

Responsible for maintenance and repair work in the building’s, private villas. The role covers carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and tiling work.

Carpentry

• Repair and adjust doors, locks, hinges, cabinets, and handrails
• Fix or replace damaged wood fittings and shelves

Electrical

• Replace lights, bulbs, switches, sockets, and fuses
• Check and repair lighting in corridors, stairwells, parking, and elevators’ common areas
• Report major electrical faults to a licensed electrician or supervisor

Plumbing

• Fix leaks, blocked drains, taps, toilets, and water heaters
• Maintain pipes, water tanks, and pumps
• Respond quickly to water damage and emergencies

Tiling & Leaks

• Repair or replace broken floor and wall tiles
• Inspect for leaks and moisture damage
• Re-grout and seal tiled areas in lobbies, corridors, and bathrooms
• Apply waterproofing membranes, coatings, and sealants to roofs, balconies, and wet areas
• Waterproof bathroom and kitchen floors and walls before tiling
• Seal cracks, joints, and pipe penetrations

General Duties

• Respond to tenant maintenance requests
• Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance
• Prepare apartments between tenants (repairs and touch-ups)
• Keep tools and materials organized and request supplies when needed
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards
• Keep a log of completed work

Requirements

• Proven experience in building maintenance or a related trade
• Practical skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and tiling
• Ability to read basic plans and diagnose problems
• Own basic hand and power tools (or access to company tools)
• Reliable, punctual, and good with tenants
• Willing to be on call for emergencies

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, climb, bend, and lift heavy items

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
