What they need
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School diploma or its equivalent.
- 1+ years’ experience as Ophthalmology Technician required.
- Ability to type 45 wpm.
- Clean driving record, current driver’s license and proof of car insurance is required.
- Advanced understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations.
- LASIK experience preferred.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)/Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred.
- Experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred. Experience in Medical scribing preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to type 45 wpm.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
