Technician

Job Summary

The Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure proper performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical and technical issues.
• Diagnose faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work as per company standards.
• Repair and replace defective vehicle parts when required.
• Carry out engine, brake, suspension, electrical, and other system repairs as per expertise.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and standard repair procedures.
• Ensure all repair work is completed within the specified time.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe working environment.
• Conduct final vehicle inspections and quality checks before delivery.
• Report major technical issues and additional repair requirements to the Service Advisor or Workshop Manager.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Ensure proper handling of customer vehicles and maintain service quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Previous experience in an automobile workshop will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Good problem-solving and technical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and complete tasks within deadlines.

• Quality and accuracy of repair work.
• Number of vehicles serviced or repaired.
• Timely completion of assigned jobs.
• Minimum repeat complaints and rework.
• Compliance with safety standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
