Technician - Electronic

Key Responsibilities:

• To perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines.

• To repair the malfunction of Electronic/Electrical components in the manufacturing machines/equipment.

• To routinely check on machinery for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions.

• To initiate improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency.

• To document activities accordingly.

• Ensure all repair tools and equipment are well maintained.

• For more senior position, might acts as team leader to ensure that the works meet agreed targets by directly overseeing work team members.

• Good troubleshooting skills on PLC/Instrumentation/MCC and able to understanding wiring/loop/MCC drawings.

• Knowledge on control systems, Inline Vision system maintenance and industrial robot maintenance will be an added advantage.

• Provide technical advice during troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument breakdown or failures to find the root cause and best solution in order to restore the functionality back to normal.

• Knowledge of general computer, hardware and software applications will be an added advantage.

• Fast learner with keen interest to learn new products and new technologies.

• Ability to work independently and resourceful with good initiatives.

• Minimum Diploma in Electric/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automoation Engineering or related field.
