Technician - Facilities (Based Overseas)

Under direction from the Chief Resident Engineer (CRE) or DMD – construction or supervisors, perform and assist in construction supervision for electrical and sanitary/plumbing systems within the Permanent Camp buildings.

Primary duties:

• Key responsibilities include field inspection, monitoring work progress of building wiring and piping, reporting site issues, and ensuring all installations meet quality and safety standards.
• Verify quantities and/or dimensions of workmanships to ensure compliance with the construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Assist in checking electrical and plumbing materials, and ensuring subcontractors follow the approved drawings and technical methods and drawing.
• Perform any facility maintenance or utility duties as assigned to ensure the camp is safe, functional, and completed on schedule.
• Review method statements and construction materials.
• Participate in the team meeting to review construction progress.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualification

• DIploma in Electrical Power, Mechanical, or related fields
• Min 3-5 years of experience as a Building Technician, Electrician and experience in maintaining building electrical systems.
• Good command in English and computer literacy
