Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance

Southeastern Facility Maintenance is a family-owned commercial facility maintenance company that utilizes state-of-the-art technologies to deliver quality services to our customers. We are looking for a dynamic technician to add to our growing team.

The ideal candidate will be a talented & dependable bi-lingual person with the ability and the skill sets to perform various General Maintenance and HVAC & Construction jobs, with the opportunity to learn additional trade skills.

Must be able to work independently with strong time management, reporting skills and be efficient with the company software platform.

Job responsibilities & requirements:

• Servicing work orders at various client locations within the Miami region
• Performing a variety of Facility Maintenance repair & HVAC preventative maintenance jobs
• Responding to emergency service requests
• Conducting site inspections, assessing work order needs, ordering and purchasing parts, managing a job to completion and reporting on our software platform Buildops
• Adhering to all code and compliance practices
• Communication with management team and its customers
• Properly photographing existing job site conditions and work completion
• Documenting daily work activity and responding to management team inquiries
• Must be available for rotating weekend on call schedule
• May also be required to travel and stay near job sites overnight on the rare occasion
• Excellent attendance, dependability and reliability are essential
• Required to have strong troubleshooting & documenting skill sets
• Bi-lingual is require for communication success
• Expected to be able to work independently and with others depending on scope of work
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Must be able to perform general physical activities common to construction (i.e. climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, climbing high ladders and handling of materials)
• Must be able to safely operate the company service trucks and other equipment safely
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Must keep company vehicle organized, clean and maintained for optimal performance
• Must have intermediate computer skills.

Compensation: based upon level of experience
