Technician Helper

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Technician Helper to support our vehicle maintenance and repair team at Tipton Hyundai. This entry-level position involves assisting experienced technicians with various tasks related to vehicle servicing, ensuring efficient workflow and quality service. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment focused on vehicle troubleshooting and repairs.

Duties

• Assist licensed technicians with vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics.
• Prepare vehicles for service by moving, cleaning, or organizing tools and parts.
• Support technicians in performing routine inspections and basic repairs.
• Help with the installation of parts and accessories as directed by senior staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
• Learn to identify common vehicle issues and assist in troubleshooting under supervision.
• Carry out other related tasks as assigned to ensure smooth workshop operations.

Experience

• Prior experience in automotive or vehicle-related work is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Basic understanding of vehicle systems and components is advantageous.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work safely in a workshop environment with attention to safety procedures.
