About the role

We are seeking a skilled Technician Injection Moulding to join our manufacturing operations on a full-time basis in Bintan Riau Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting injection moulding machines to ensure the production of high-quality components. This is a hands-on technical position that plays a crucial role in meeting our production targets and maintaining our reputation for excellence. You will work closely with the production team and supervisors to optimise machine performance and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate injection moulding machines safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures and specifications
• Monitor machine performance and product quality during production runs, making adjustments as necessary
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of injection moulding equipment to ensure optimal functioning
• Identify and report machine malfunctions or defects, and assist with troubleshooting and repairs
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before packaging
• Maintain accurate records of production data, machine maintenance and any issues encountered
• Follow all health and safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues and improve efficiency
• Prepare moulds and materials for production runs as instructed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an injection moulding technician or in a similar machine operator role within the manufacturing sector
• Sound knowledge of injection moulding processes, equipment operation and maintenance procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality output consistently
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints and work instructions
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work area
• Physical fitness to perform manual handling and operate machinery for extended periods
• Preferred: Relevant technical certifications or formal training in injection moulding or mechanical engineering
• Preferred: Experience with thermoplastic or elastomer moulding
