Technician (Laboratory)

Responsibilities:

• Perform sampling, inspection, physical, chemical & microbiological testing on incoming raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates & finished products
• Perform calibration & verification check on laboratory equipment and inline manufacturing measuring device
• Maintain laboratory documentation system in compliance with quality management system requirements
• Provide support to other ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Testing, Chemistry, Biology or related science disciplines

• Hands-on laboratory experience in microbiology, chemistry, food testing, quality control, or related laboratory disciplines is preferred

• Must be willing and able to work on shift duties, including weekend shifts, public holidays and overtime work as assigned. Shift duty is an essential requirement of this position

• Responsible, reliable and well organized

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
