Technician (Mechanical)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Mechanical activities.
• Assisting Facility Engineers in implementing all company policies and strategies in line with regional care procedures.
• Prepare and update the maintenance and operation programs in detail.
• Conduct research, drafting methods and planning periodic maintenance on Mechanical systems and equipment.
• To plan and plan the use of human resources in handling Mechanical activities.
• Inspecting the Mechanical systems before and after maintenance work is carried out.
• Conducting sub-contractor appointments and equipment purchases for Mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular checks on areas and facilities and provide inspection reports to Facility Manager.
• Prepare and control the budget for all contracts under the Mechanical units and ensure timely and orderly maintenance of records and payments.
• Ensure Sub-contractor work is completed and done according to specifications.
• To supervise subcontractors during renovation work, renovations, upgrades and ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with plans approved by the authorities.
• Collaborate with other units, departments, and divisions to get work permits, work orders and so on.
• Monitor for spare parts stocks to be sufficient and obtain within the specified timeframe.
• Inspect and act on area damage reported by the customer.
• Preparing daily, monthly, and annual reports relating to Mechanical works to be submitted.
• Perform other relevant duties in accordance with company directives from time to time.
• Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same.
• Be aware of the duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly.
• Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers.
• Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with Company requirement.
