TECHNICIAN OFFICER/ ENGINEERING EXECUTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR DIE SHOP OFFICER:
Basic job responsible for Die Shop Technician (Tool and Die Machinist)

• Operate the machine & perform accurate part fabrication base on drawing.
• Manage & complete part fabrication to meet the target processing time.
• Measure and confirm part/die dimensional and tolerance based on drawing.
• Take measurement and mark material for cutting or shaping.
• Select appropriate machines (e.g lathes) and position or load material for a job.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities for a designated location.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area.
• To provide support on maintenance activities in other sections.

• Require to overtime when needed.

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or Certificate of Institut Kemahiran Mara or Diploma in Tool and Die / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this position to gain work environment experience.
• Applicants must be willing to work at Bukit Kemuning, Seksyen 34, Shah Alam.
• Required skills: Good communication skills and willing to work from basic Technical aspect.
• Good discipline with a results-driven approach to work. Self-motivated, hardworking, and eager to learn new knowledge.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is priority.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Performed additional duties and responsibilities assigned by Superior/HOD/Management.
• Ensure adherence to Company policies, SOP and Safety regulation.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ENGINEERING EXECUTIVE:

1. Daily or periodically checks with the team to maintain smooth operation of machinery, equipment, tools, and dies.
2. Monitoring Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule, ensure it is fully implemented and machineries are in tip-top condition.
3. Effective delegate task to the right skills member, with proper planning & managing effectively.
4. Manage the team to ensure machine availability with speedy trouble shooting & recover of any machine breakdown.
5. Ensure good maintenance of variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, compressors & forklifts are undertaken.
6. Regularly review, provide resources and support to team to ensure Dept. KPI or quality objectives of Die breakdown rate & Machine breakdown rate are met.
7. Motivate and coach the team, identify training needs.
8. Recommend to the management if any machine upgrading or automation idea for productivity up purpose.
9. To assist in productivity up activities through machine capacity up, reduce scrap or rejection.
10. Liaise & communicate with other department or suppliers & other service providers.
11. Support & participate in ISO 9001, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Safety and Health activities.
12. To perform any other duties as directed by superior.

Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Technical Qualification equivalent.
2. Minimum 2-5 years’ experience as a Technical or Production and experience in machine repairing or machine maintenance in manufacturing factory.
3. Knowledge and Technical Drawing, Machine Maintenance, Die Designing, PLC and machine parts.
4. Excellent in organize & follow-up skill.
5. Competence in machine trouble shooting.
6. Ability to manage team.
7. Decision maker and problem solver.
8. Toyota Production System or Lean Manufacturing.
9. DMAIC/ Fishbone diagram/ 5W1H.
10. Total Productive Maintenance.
