TECHNICIAN (PRODUCTION ENGINEERING/ SMT / PROCESS

Technician Production Engineering

1. Primary job function

1.1 To perform various machine set-up (Asst line Technician) upon requested by production.

1.2 To perform audit, maintenance of all equipment.

1.3 To perform change of model as per planning schedule.

2. Duties and responsibilities

2.1 To carry out job as instructed by Line Technician.

2.2 To assist line Technician when there is a need

2.3 To carry out all periodic maintenance as per schedule and update the checklist promptly. 2.4 To follow up on any outstanding (Line fallout).

2.5 To ensure good housekeeping and always aware of safety requirement.

2.6 Able to perform shift work when required.

2.7 To achieve PCBA objectives such as downtime, conversion time and quality.

3. Qualification:

3.1 Diploma in Electric and Electronic Engineering

Technician SMT

1. To perform maintenance of all equipment - Cleaning workstations and equipment before and after production runs to ensure that the assembly line is always ready for new work.

2. To assist process/equipment engineers to design, carry out or setup new device evaluation / engineering run when needed, and assist in troubleshoot existing products for defects.

3. To perform change of model as per planning schedule.

4. To attend to the machine immediately when break down and change model.

5. To monitor the machine performance during operation, monitor closely on the pickup and mount efficiency, to reduce component drop-out.

6. To ensure production machine performance is well-maintained by performing all periodic maintenance as per schedule and update the checklist promptly.

7. To practice 5’s every time after maintenance/repairing /conversion

8. To achieve SMT/AI objectives such as downtime, conversion time and quality

9. Highlight to superior any activities in the company that may be contrary to the environment policy - Ensure that all waste/ chemical are properly store/label and scrap.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum Diploma in electronic or electrical engineering field with at least 1 year experience in the manufacturing environment.

2. SPM with minimum 3 years of experience in the manufacturing environment.

Process Technician

Primary job function

1.1 To perform maintenance and repairing of jigs and fixtures on the production floor.

1.2 To generate standard time for any new model.

1.3 To carry out process evaluation when required.

1.4 Maintain and update standard time due to the change of process.

1.5 Ensure all IE preparation such as jig, PWI, program and tools are available on time before production.

1.6Produce the time study of product upon requested.

1.7 Proper recording and filing of auditable documents.
1.8 Provide full support on new product trial run.
1.9 To audit and ensure all station is complied with PWI.

B. Duties and responsibilities

1.1 To carry out job as instructed by supervisor.

1.2 To assist other department when there is a need.

1.3 To ensure good house keeping and always aware of safety requirement.

1.4 To fabricate jig and fixture when there is a need to improve the processes.

1.5 To keep track on all the jigs and fixtures.

1.6 Conduct training for new operator from production when needed.
1.7 Ensure line are well balance.

1.8 Ensure all PWI and WI are up to date and were comply by production.

1.9 Adhered to 5S requirement.

C. Qualification and requirement

Diploma holder in electronic or electrical engineering, Certificate in any engineering field
