Technician - Skill Level A

Kenny Ross Ford Adamsburg is looking for an Automotive Service Technician

Job Duties:

• Evaluate customers’ needs, working quickly and efficiently
• Evaluate the repairs and needs for the customers vehicle, working quickly and efficiently
• Master products, services and company knowledge
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly
• Identify mechanical problems
• Perform basic care and maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations
• Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings
• Disassemble and reassemble parts
• Use testing equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective
• Explain to clients their automotive problems and the repairs done on their vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Must have state and emissions license
• Good knowledge of automobiles.
• Effective analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Detail oriented capable of a high quality repair.
• Minimum of 1 year in service department
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Basic Computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

Pay Range: $25 - $40/hr flat rate based on experience and productivity
