Technician Supervisor

Unica Enterprises is seeking a dependable, safety-minded supervisor to join our team. Oversee overnight escalator and moving sidewalk cleaning services at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. This role directs technicians, supports safe equipment operation, monitors work quality, and coordinates with site leadership to deliver consistent results in an active airport environment.

A successful Supervisor:

• Keeps overnight assignments organized and work on schedule
• Provides clear direction and coaches technicians on safe cleaning practices
• Identifies quality, equipment, and attendance issues early
• Maintains accurate inspection and shift documentation
• Supports a respectful team and a positive airport guest experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-shift huddles and assign escalator and moving sidewalk cleaning tasks
• Supervise technicians and verify proper use of approved specialized cleaning equipment
• Inspect cleaned steps, edges, corners, and comb plates for consistent results
• Track attendance, callouts, shift coverage, and employee performance concerns
• Document quality inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions
• Monitor equipment readiness, supplies, and required protective equipment
• Reinforce safety procedures to prevent slips, water intrusion, and electrical hazards
• Coordinate work around passenger traffic and report operational interruptions
• Train and coach employees; escalate personnel concerns to site management and HR
• Communicate daily progress, safety issues, and equipment concerns to management

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in custodial, facilities, or specialized cleaning operations preferred
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, equipment, and workplace safety
• Ability to organize work assignments and supervise multiple employees
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow airport access, security, and safety requirements

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Overnight work within the 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. service window; weekends may be scheduled
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and hands-on floor presence
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must meet applicable DFW Airport badging and access requirements
• Required professional uniform and personal protective equipment as applicable
