What they need
About the role
Responsible to perform high quality repair and maintenance work in accordance with the standards set by Honda, based on the competency acquired.
Key responsibilities
- Perform Honda basic maintenance programme, fault tracing of engine management system problems, engine tuning & adjustment, general repair and overhaul of engine
- Fault tracing of auto-transmission & manual-transmission problems, general repair of transmission, clutch, pumps, etc.
- Fault tracing of electrical problems and replacing / repairing of basic electrical components
- Fault tracing of suspension and undercarriage problems and replacing / repairing of basic suspension & undercarriage components
- Fault tracing of air-conditioning problems and replacing / repairing of basic air-conditioning components
- Adjustment of body parts, locks and window winders and other body and interior parts
- Installation of basic accessories
- Co-ordinate with Service Advisor on additional jobs
- Carry out any duties and job functions as instructed by the Company or person acting on behalf of the Company
