Technician (Warehouse)

We are looking for an experienced Technician to support the maintenance and safe operation of our Tank Farm / Tank Yard facilities.

Key Responsibilities

-Handle and coordinate Permit to Work (PTW) applications, repair forms and maintenance documentation.

-Coordinate maintenance, repair and troubleshooting activities within the Tank Yard.

-Liaise with contractors, suppliers and internal departments for maintenance and repair works.

-Inspect and maintain equipment such as pumps, valves, pressure gauges, piping and related Tank Yard equipment.

-Identify equipment defects and follow up on repair or replacement works until completion.

-Supervise contractor activities and ensure work is carried out safely and according to site requirements.

-Support Tank Yard shutdown, start-up and maintenance activities.

-Maintain proper records of equipment condition, maintenance and repair status.

Requirements

-Diploma, Certificate or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Maintenance Engineering or related field.

-Relevant experience as a Senior Technician, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Technician or similar role.

-Experience in a tank farm, chemical plant, petrochemical, manufacturing or process industry is preferred.

-Hands on knowledge of pumps, valves, pressure gauges, piping systems and industrial equipment.

-Familiar with PTW systems, maintenance procedures and safety requirements.

-Able to troubleshoot basic mechanical and equipment problems.

-Able to coordinate contractors and work independently with good follow-up.

-Able to communicate effectively in English with contractors, suppliers and internal personnel.

-Having knowledge and basic skill to use computer and Microsoft office

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
