  • Complete work orders, service reports, inspection checklists, and related documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Test-drive vehicles (where authorised) to verify repairs and ensure faults have been rectified.
  • Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and workstations in good working condition.
  • Observe all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in technical training when required.
  • Perform any other workshop-related duties assigned by the Team Leader or Supervisor.

Requirements

  • NTC 2, NITEC in Automotive Technology, Heavy Vehicle Technology, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in servicing and repairing commercial vehicles, heavy vehicles, trucks, buses, forklifts, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
  • Hands-on experience in engine and transmission overhaul is highly preferred.
  • Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and service tools.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems will be an advantage.
  • Able to read and understand service manuals and repair procedures.
  • Competent in basic English, both spoken and written.
  • Class 3 driving licence is preferred.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Responsible, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
