Technicians - Assembly/Hydraulic/Electrical

About the role

WTE Oilfield Solutions Sdn Bhd is hiring Technicians to join our team in Rawang, Selangor. We have openings for Assembly Technician, Hydraulic Technician, and Electrical Technician roles. Candidates with experience in more than one area are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

Assembly Technician:

• Assemble and install mechanical equipment and components
• Perform fitting, alignment and adjustment works
• Read and follow basic engineering drawings and work instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment
• Assist with equipment testing, repair and maintenance
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and assembly issues

Hydraulic Technician:

• Assemble and install hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, valves and components
• Perform hydraulic piping, hose routing and connections
• Read basic hydraulic drawings and diagrams
• Carry out pressure and functional testing
• Troubleshoot leaks, pressure problems and faulty components
• Perform repair and maintenance of hydraulic systems

Electrical Technician:

• Carry out electrical wiring, installation and termination works
• Install electrical components, control panels, motors, sensors and switches
• Read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Perform electrical testing and basic troubleshooting
• Identify and repair electrical faults
• Assist with equipment testing, commissioning and maintenance

General Duties:

• Follow drawings, work instructions and production requirements
• Check completed work and report any defects or problems
• Work together with Production, Engineering and QA/QC teams
• Take care of tools and equipment
• Complete required job and maintenance records
• Follow safety procedures and wear the required PPE
• Keep the workshop and work area clean and organised

About you

• Certificate, SKM or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive, Hydraulic or related technical field is preferred
• Hands-on experience in assembly, hydraulic and/or electrical work
• Experience in manufacturing, machinery, heavy equipment or oilfield equipment is an advantage
• Able to use workshop tools and basic measuring equipment
• Able to read basic technical drawings or diagrams related to your work
• Able to troubleshoot and solve basic technical problems
• Willing to learn and perform hands-on work
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Candidates with experience in more than one technical area will have an added advantage
