About the role
This role involves programming and operating CNC milling, lathe, Autoline, and BFC machines to perform various machining operations including drilling, grinding, and milling.
Key responsibilities
- Perform programming for CNC milling, lathe machines, Autoline machines, and BFC machines
- Source and test new workholding tools, inserts, holders, and other consumables to improve reliability and reduce cycle time of current production parts
- Participate in new part development and testing, and perform necessary tasks to prepare parts for mass production
- Set up and manage CNC machines to perform various machining operations, including drilling, grinding, and milling
- Inspect machinery daily to ensure proper functionality
- Identify and troubleshoot problems related to processes, products, and equipment, and find suitable solutions
- Promote a safe and healthy production environment by consistently following safe working practices
About you
- Ability to program, set up, and operate various CNC and lathe machining processes, including milling, turning, and grinding equipment
