Technologist - Echocardiographer PRN

Role Overview: Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to assist in diagnosing and treating diseases. Responsible for developing and implementing procedure plans, ensuring optimal results, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning for effective procedures.
• Develop and execute appropriate procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Complete documentation per policies and maintain equipment and work areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
• Achieve assigned goals and collaborate effectively within the department.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as a sonographer preferred.
• Registered with ARDMS, Cardiac Sonographer, or Vascular Technologist (RVT), or a new graduate awaiting registry; registry proof required within 60 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• Basic computer skills required; additional training and licensure (ARDMS/CCI) preferred.
