General Description Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Technologist to to perform mammograms in the Radiology Department! Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license or temporary permit.

Job Duties Job Duties and Other Information : The Technologist (PRN) is a position within the Radiology Department. The function of this position is to perform a variety of specialized technical procedures that require the usage of mammogram technology.

• Perform routine x-ray imaging services, during the shifts assigned, to include portable, C-Arm Surgery procedures and one or more specialized modalities such as CT, MRI or Mammography, as allowed through the scope of their license/credentials.
• Verify that digital images are properly matched to the patient and that image quality is acceptable for interpretation.
• Enter necessary and pertinent documentation into the RIS and org-wide electronic medical record. Select and operate equipment and accessories as appropriate for the patient and procedure ordered.
• Perform daily equipment checks as required, to ensure that radiographic equipment is safe and ready to use.
• Attend educational In-services, Mandatory Training and Annual Review as required by hospital policy and procedure or deemed necessary by supervisor.
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned to include shift or on-call coverage

Work Schedule : Work hours vary and will be set by Manager.

Compensation: This position offers a base pay rate of $31.00 per hour and is also eligible for premium pay, certification pay, and on call pay. How To Apply No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.
