Technologist – MRI

Role Summary: Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Ensures optimal imaging results through proper technique and positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements appropriate procedures and treatment plans according to hospital protocols.
• Completes accurate documentation to adhere to policies.
• Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Achieves assigned goals and ensures procedures are performed effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting MRI competencies.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R); MRI registry preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills and appropriate licensure, including state licensing if applicable.
• New graduates must obtain registry within 60 days of hire.
