Your working environment

You will join the IP & Technology Intelligence Group within Saft’s Research Department and will report to the Competitive & technology Intelligence manager within the Research department and the Intellectual Property team.

The team supports innovation and strategic decision‑making by delivering insights, digital tools, improved methodologies and patent‑based intelligence.

This role is part of the development of Saft’s Technology Intelligence activities in India.

Your missions

As a Technology Intelligence Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Improving operational efficiency through data analytics, digital tools, and AI-assisted developments and workflows.
• Preparing and delivering Technology Intelligence reports (patent landscapes) and insights (companies and trends analyses)
• Supporting web monitoring content, updates, and feature development
• Contributing to the development of Saft’s network of Technology Intelligence and Industrial Property partners in India
• Ensuring quality and relevance of Technology Intelligence deliverables

Required profile

• Engineering or master’s degree in science, data science, or engineering (materials/chemistry)
• Strong interest in intellectual property, technology intelligence, and digital tools
• Ability to synthesize complex information clearly
• Experience in web monitoring tools / data analysis oriented is a pre-requisite (KB Suite or equivalent)
• Experience in patent (Questel Orbit or equivalent) is a plus but not the focus of the position
• Experience in partner scouting/networking is a plus
• Analytical, rigorous, autonomous, and curious
