About the Role

We are a chartered bus company in Singapore seeking an experienced Technology Manager to oversee our technology systems and improve transport operations through digitalisation. The role also includes operational support and driving 45-seater buses for assigned trips when required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the company’s IT infrastructure, networks, hardware and software.

Oversee booking, bus scheduling, fleet tracking and driver deployment systems.

Identify and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and customer service.

Manage technology vendors, service contracts, budgets and system upgrades.

Maintain cybersecurity measures, access controls, data backups and recovery procedures.

Provide technical support and train employees on company systems.

Coordinate technology projects with management and operational teams.

Analyse operational data and recommend improvements to fleet utilisation and scheduling.

Support daily transport operations and drive 45-seater buses for trips when required.

Travel locally and overseas for meetings, site visits and project implementation.

Requirements

Must hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

At least 18 years of working experience in Singapore’s chartered bus industry.

Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence.

Willing and able to drive 45-seater buses for assigned trips when required, with all necessary vocational licences.

Relevant experience managing technology systems, vendors and projects.

Strong understanding of bus operations, fleet deployment and scheduling systems.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and business applications.

Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese to communicate with English- and Chinese-speaking drivers, customers, vendors and business partners.

Willing and able to travel locally and overseas when required.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and respond promptly to technical and operational issues.
