Technology Specialist and Developer (C#/.NET)

Role Description The Technology Specialist and Developer (C#/.NET) is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using C# and the .NET framework, including implementation of new features and optimization of existing code. The specialist will work on system integration tasks, ensuring that different applications and services communicate effectively, and will manage database operations such as schema design, querying, and performance tuning. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean and testable code, reviewing peer code, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to documentation and technical specifications. The role also requires staying current with industry best practices and supporting continuous improvement of software development processes.

Qualifications

• Strong software development and programming skills, particularly in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with application and system integration, including working with APIs and third-party services.
• Proficiency with databases, such as SQL Server or similar relational database systems, including query optimization and data modeling.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies, including Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and ability to collaborate with UI/UX teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), software testing practices, and agile development methodologies.
• Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Lagos.
