Genuine School is a K-12 online school founded as a startup, with over 500 students from countries like Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, and Mexico. Our mission is to make high-quality bilingual education accessible from anywhere, transforming the lives of thousands of students and shaping the future of Latin America.

📢 You're our perfect candidate IF:

• You have a degree in software engineering, computer science, or related.
• 1+ years of teaching experience.
• You are fluent in English (C1 spoken and written)
• You believe in alternative teaching methods, and you are open to learn new ones.
• You are familiar with working in different online platforms with bigger groups, like Teams and Zoom.
• You have a very dynamic personality, dynamic enough to shine through the screen 😊
• Actively seek areas of improvement and find effective ways to solve/fix current issues.
• Are punctual, organized, and professional in all aspects of the role.
• Strong feedback skills and support for iterative learning.
• Capacity to work collaboratively across disciplines and with curriculum teams

📌 Responsibilities:

• Teach to students in an engaging, interactive, and bilingual environment.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum, ensuring student progress through assessments and feedback.
• Maintain academic records, update lesson plans, and use Microsoft Teams for documentation and communication.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, projects, and professional development activities.
• Engage with families and students, attending parent-teacher meetings when required.

• Familiarity with Scratch, App Inventor, CodePen, and/or VS Code.
• Basic knowledge of visual and text-based programming (e.g., blocks, Python, HTML/CSS/JS).
• Familiarity with UI/UX design platforms such as Visily and Canva.
• Ability to use multimedia editing tools (CapCut, Clipchamp, Audacity).
• Experience with AR and 3D tools like MergeEDU, MyWebAR, and Tinkercad.
• Basic use of educational machine learning tools such as Teachable Machine.
• -Basic knowledge of GIT and GitHub.
