Technology team lead（card system）

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Client Engagement for Card System Delivery

o Lead the Hong-Kong-based technical team to end-to-end deliver card system projects.

o Conduct on-site client meetings to elicit and discuss business requirements,align expectations with stakeholders, and facilitate joint reviews of technicalproposals.

o Exercise technical leadership to drive delivery progress, foster team capability,and resolve cross-functional roadblocks throughout project lifecycles.

2. System Architecture, Planning & Technology Roadmap

o Own architecture design and technology selection for large-scale Javaapplication systems, ensuring high availability, high performance, and system scalability for card-related business scenarios.

o Perform overall system planning and develop actionable technology roadmapsthat adapt to continuously evolving business needs.

o Participate in requirement-gathering workshops and project technical solution design; translate collected business requirements into concrete, executable technical implementation plans.

3. Technical Problem-Solving & System Stability Assurance

o Research and resolve critical technical challenges including high-concurrency processing, AI-driven decision engine implementation, big-data processing, and distributed transactions within card system workloads.

o Drive system performance optimization covering code refactoring, database tuning, and cache strategy definition to enhance system response latency and throughput.

o Carry out technical risk assessment, define mitigation measures, and build emergency response plans to guarantee reliable production-grade system operation.

4. Technical Mentorship & Code Governance

o Provide technical guidance and targeted training to uplift the overall competency of the Hong Kong delivery team.

o Perform thorough code reviews to enforce coding standards, maintain code quality, and ensure deliverables satisfy functional and non-functional project requirements.

5. Cross-team Collaboration & On-time Delivery

o Closely collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders to secure timely delivery of card system initiatives.

o Coordinate cross-department technical resources and troubleshoot project-level technical issues to keep implementations on track.

6. Provide Post-Launch Support

o Post-Launch Support: Own post-launch technical support, coordinating with technical teams to resolve complex problems.

o Provide technical support to ensure timely and effective resolution of client concerns.

7. Support Sales Efforts:

o Assist the business development team in finding and pursuing sales opportunities.

o Share product and technology knowledge during sales meetings.

Qualifications

1. Education

o Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Computer Science, SoftwareEngineering, FinTech, or related fields are preferred.

2. Professional Experience

o Minimum 5 years hands-on Java development experience and minimum 3 years of system analysis & architecture-design experience, with 5-10 years of card system delivery experience.

o Proven track record leading technical delivery teams; direct experience working in client-facing scenarios to discuss and clarify business requirements.

o Practical experience building and delivering large-scale enterprise-grade Java application systems; prior working experience within finance and credit-card domains is strongly preferred.

o Substantial hands-on experience in end-to-end system architecture work and architecture-driven technology roadmap formulation, plus system-optimization project delivery.

3. Technical Skills

o Solid Java fundamentals with deep understanding of JVM internals, multi-threaded programming, and common design patterns.

o Proficient in mainstream Java stacks including Spring, Spring Boot and

MyBatis; well-grounded in distributed-system architecture with proven hands-on work on distributed cache, distributed transactions, and distributed file systems.

o Strong command of relational-database technologies (MySQL, Oracle), including database schema design and performance tuning capability.

o Practical experience designing and implementing microservice architectures;familiar with container-based technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

o Working knowledge of AI-related design and coding practices applied within complex financial-grade systems.

4. Domain & Business Knowledge

o Familiar with credit-card and payment-finance business workflows as well as relevant regulatory compliance requirements.

o Capable of digesting complex business requirements and converting them into feasible technical implementation plans.
