Technology Technician

About the role

We have a great opportunity for a Technology Technician at Waitaki Boys’ High School,

required as soon as possible. You should be highly organised with good interpersonal

skills. Previous experience working in a similar setting or role would be advantageous.

The position commences Monday 12 th October 2026.

The successful candidate will: -

 Be able to work in an encouraging and supportive manner with pupils.

 Order and prepare materials for student projects.

 Order, maintain and prepare tool and equipment across a range of Technology

specialisms.

 Maintain, arrange repairs, demonstrate and supervise the use of workshop

machinery.

 Ensure relevant Health and Safety regulations are implemented and adhered to.

Manage risk assessments as necessary.

10 hours per week. Term time.
