Job Overview
Assist with all aspects of cannabis cultivation. May have strong agricultural background as it relates to medical cannabis cultivation

Responsibilities

• Typical duties of this position will include but are not limited to defoliation, soil mixing, record keeping, planting, cleaning.
• Assist large scale warehouse with a wide array of supplemental lighting including LED.
• Maintains the day to day operations of the cultivation site.
• Use the personnel protective equipment all time during your shift.
• Assist in growing quality plant material in assigned product line or greenhouse location according to product specifications and direction from Manager or other designee.
• Possesses or acquires a thorough understanding of the effect of all cultural, chemical, and environmental processes on crops.
• Routinely applies standard floricultural practices.
• Notify Manager or designee of the need to order any fertilizers, chemicals and personal protection equipment, or the need for maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in removing all diseased, damaged, and/or dead plant material on a daily basis. Reports all dumped material to manager.
• Follows all aspects of the company’s chemical safety programs including the labeled usage, handling requirements, and proper application techniques for all chemicals.
• Maintains a clean and orderly greenhouse all areas as tables, walls, fans, floor and common areas always, including insect, disease, and weed control.
• Maintain a positive professional attitude towards work and co-workers. Meets standards for quality. Efficiency and productivity.
• Perform tasks such as harvesting, pruning, irrigation, handling waste such as leaves and stems, cleaning cisterns and filters.
• May be assigned other job duties, as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimums 1 year of experience, or equivalent education.
• Possesses the experience and practical knowledge of the cultural practices required to consistently produce a variety of plants grown by the company, meeting all specifications.
• English written and verbal communications skills required to effectively interact with employees, supervisors and customers.
• Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow warehouse.
• Knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics.
• Basic knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.
• Willing to help in other areas if necessary.
• Have ability to work any shift including weekends and holidays

Requirements:

• You are at least 21 years of age.
• You have no felony convictions.
• You are willing to participate in an extensive background security check.
• You must have PR Employee Occupational License ID card
• You must have PR Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.50 - $11.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
