Job Title: Tecsys Integration Consultant

Location: Remote

Experience: 7+ years overall IT experience; 3+ years of hands-on Tecsys experience preferred

The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with Tecsys Elite / Tecsys inventory and supply-chain applications , including inventory, order management, warehouse/distribution processes, and integration with Salesforce CRM or Salesforce-based business applications.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce teams, Tecsys teams, integration architects, developers and QA teams to design, implement, test and support end-to-end integrations.

Tecsys provides cloud-based supply-chain solutions spanning areas such as ERP, warehouse management, transportation management, inventory visibility, retail fulfillment and point-of-use supply.

Key Responsibilities

Tecsys Supply Chain / Inventory

• Provide functional and technical expertise on Tecsys supply-chain applications .
• Work with Tecsys Elite / inventory / WMS / distribution / order-management functionality.
• Analyze business requirements involving inventory, products, orders, customers, suppliers, fulfillment and warehouse operations.
• Configure and support Tecsys functionality based on client business requirements.
• Analyze Tecsys data, transactions, workflows and integrations.
• Troubleshoot Tecsys application and integration issues.
• Support Tecsys implementation, enhancement, testing and production-support activities.

Salesforce Integration

• Design and implement integrations between Tecsys and Salesforce .
• Integrate customer, product, inventory, order, shipment and related business data between platforms.
• Work with Salesforce objects, APIs, integration patterns and data mappings.
• Collaborate with Salesforce developers and architects on integration architecture.
• Support REST/SOAP/API-based integrations and enterprise integration workflows.
• Define data transformation, validation, error handling and reconciliation processes.
• Troubleshoot synchronization and integration failures.

Integration & Technical Responsibilities

• Develop detailed interface specifications, mapping documents and integration designs.
• Analyze upstream/downstream system dependencies.
• Work with APIs, web services, JSON, XML and enterprise integration technologies.
• Support real-time and batch data integrations where applicable.
• Monitor interface transactions and investigate failed or delayed transactions.
• Implement appropriate logging, exception handling and retry mechanisms.
• Participate in integration testing, SIT, UAT and production validation.
• Coordinate with offshore/onshore development and QA teams.
