What they need
The Tekla Shop & GA Editor is responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings and general arrangement (GA) drawings from approved Tekla models for fabrication and erection purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate shop drawings from finalized Tekla models
- Prepare GA drawings for approval and site reference
- Apply appropriate dimensioning and labelling
- Ensure drawings meet project and fabrication standards
- Review drawings for clarity and completeness
- Update drawings based on internal and client comments
- Maintain drawing revision logs
Skills Required
- Proficiency in Tekla drawing editor
- Ability to interpret construction drawings
- Knowledge of steel detailing terminology
