Tekla/precast Detailer

Job Responsibilities

• Perform 3D modelling and detailing of precast concrete structures using Tekla Structures.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, reinforcement details and shop drawings based on engineering drawings and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain accurate 3D models for precast concrete elements and ensure all details are properly coordinated.
• Review structural and architectural drawings to identify discrepancies, clashes or missing information before modelling and detailing.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams and other relevant departments to ensure drawings and models meet project requirements.
• Assist in preparing and updating drawings and models based on design changes, site requirements and project revisions.
• Ensure all drawings, models and detailing works comply with project specifications, engineering standards and company requirements.
• Check dimensions, reinforcement details, connections and other structural components for accuracy before submission.
• Make necessary revisions and updates to drawings/models based on comments from engineers, clients or project teams.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Tekla Structures / BIM software.
• Good understanding of reinforced concrete structures and structural detailing.
• Knowledge of precast concrete construction and detailing will be an added advantage.
• Able to read and interpret structural and engineering drawings.
