About the role

This role involves operational and maintenance management of AC systems in apartment complexes. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs to ensure systems function optimally and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine operational and maintenance of AC systems in apartment areas
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep AC systems functioning optimally
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance when AC systems malfunction or fail
• Inspect indoor units, outdoor units, compressors, blowers, fans, drain systems, refrigerant, and supporting AC components
• Clean and maintain AC systems, including filters, evaporators, condensers, and related components
• Perform basic electrical checks and AC control inspections
• Address resident reports and complaints regarding AC not cooling, leaks, or other malfunctions
• Record inspection results, maintenance activities, and equipment damage
• Ensure AC equipment and systems are in safe, clean, and proper working condition
• Coordinate with the Engineering team on technical issues and assist with other engineering work as needed

About you

• Minimum SMK qualification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as an AC Technician, preferably in apartments, hotels, multi-storey buildings, or building management
• Understanding of AC Split, Cassette, Split Duct, and/or VRV/VRF systems and maintenance
• Ability to perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on AC systems
• Understanding of basic electrical systems related to AC equipment
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues such as AC not cooling, refrigerant leaks, compressor problems, fan and blower issues, drain problems, and electrical faults
• Knowledge of AC-related tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Disciplined, responsible, responsive, and communicative attitude
• Willing to work shift systems and handle technical work in apartment areas
