About the Role

We're hiring a Telecaller to own the top of our sales funnel primarily through outbound calling. This role is built for a startup that generates its own pipeline: you'll be working through lead lists daily, cold and warm, screening and qualifying prospects, and booking meetings directly onto Robinson's calendar. Inbound (WhatsApp click to chat, demo requests, AI flagged hot leads) will come your way too, but outbound calling is the core of this job, not a side task.

Aurra Sales Agent is an AI powered outbound calling platform used by Indian B2B SMEs to automate lead qualification at scale. As a startup, we don't yet have volume inbound demand this role exists to actively generate pipeline through consistent, high quality outbound calling, supplemented by whatever inbound comes in.

What You'll Do

• Make high-volume outbound calls daily from provided lead lists cold and warm to generate and qualify pipeline
• Screen and qualify inbound leads (WhatsApp click to chat, demo requests, AI flagged hot leads) as they come in
• Qualify every lead against our ICP budget, authority, need, timeline before booking
• Book qualified meetings directly onto Robinson's calendar, confirming time, contact details, and context
• Send timely WhatsApp/email confirmations and reminders to reduce no-shows
• Log every call outcome, objection, and note clearly in the dashboard/CRM
• Run structured follow-up on leads that didn't convert on the first call persistence without being pushy
• Flag genuinely unqualified or dead leads so Robinson's time isn't wasted
• Work closely with Robinson to give him full context before every meeting no cold handoffs
• Hit daily/weekly outbound call volume targets consistently

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or appointment setting (B2B preferred)

• Fluent in Tamil and English; Hindi/Telugu/Malayalam a strong plus
• Sharp listener can pick up buying signals and objections in real time, not just follow a script
• Comfortable with high call volumes and fast follow up cycles
• Organized nothing falls through the cracks between "call" and "calendar invite sent"
• Basic comfort with WhatsApp Business, CRM/dashboard tools, and calendar scheduling
• Thick-skinned rejection doesn't slow you down
• Based in or able to commute reliably to Thiruvanmiyur

• Consistent daily/weekly outbound call volume, hit without excuses
• High show up rate for booked meetings (not just bookings kept appointments)
• Fast response time on hot/inbound leads when they do come in (minutes, not hours)
• Clean, complete call logs Robinson can act on without needing to ask questions
• A qualification bar that holds Robinson's calendar stays full of real prospects, not tire kickers
