Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic and articulate Telecaller Executive to join our growing team at Pet Essence Pvt Ltd, Kerala's premier wholesale and retail pet food and accessories distributor. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for retail shop owners, pet breeders, and individual customers. You will manage customer orders, handle product inquiries, make outbound sales calls, and ensure seamless delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound & Inbound Calling: Reach out to local pet stores, veterinary clinics, and retail clients to present active promotions, take bulk orders, and introduce new inventory.

Order Processing: Receive incoming customer orders for pet food, treats, and accessories, entering details accurately into the billing system/register.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with recurring B2B buyers across Kerala, following up regularly for repeat orders.

Inquiry Handling: Answer customer queries regarding product availability, pricing, shipping, and order status in a polite and helpful manner.

Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse/godown team to ensure timely dispatch and accurate fulfillment of orders.

Record Keeping: Maintain daily calling logs, customer feedback, and sales reports in Excel or internal CRM software.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Graduate in any discipline.

Experience: 0–2 years in telecalling, telesales, or customer support (Prior experience in wholesale or FMCG is a plus; freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).

Language Proficiency:

Fluent in Malayalam (Essential).

Working knowledge of English (Required for documentation/system entries).

Knowledge of Hindi or Tamil is an added advantage.

Skills Needed:

Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication).

Excellent telephone etiquette and negotiation skills.

Basic understanding of or passion for pets/pet care products is preferred.
